Kasargod: Accident at Manjeshwar – Scooterist Succumbs

Kasargod, Dec 2: Abdul Bakas (33), residing near Bilal Masjid in Uppala Turtikunnu died after his scooter tripped on national highway at the tenth milestone in Udyavar near Manjeshwar on Thursday December 1. His father, Abdul Gafoor, is a resident of Vijayanagar in Bangalore.

Bakas was coming to his home in Uppala by scooter from Tokkottu. He was trying to avoid a pothole, when he lost his balance, and the scooter fell down. He was seriously injured, and arrangements were made to shift him to a hospital in Mangalore. But his end came before he could be admitted into the hospital.

Abdul, working in a meat shop in Tokkottu, used to ply to his workplace from his home every day. He had recently visited Bangalore, and had returned on Monday.
