Bangalore, Dec 2: The state commercial taxes department, in exercise of the powers vested under section 53 of KVAT Act 2003 (Karnataka Act No 32 of 2004), issued Notification No ADCOM (I &C) P A/CR-31/2011-12 dated 03-11-2011, prescribing the effective date of Notification as Thursday December 1, 2011.
Trade bodies and their dealers have represented that the general public shall be made aware of the inclusion of additional commodities in the new e-Sugam Notification.
The Notification will come into force with effect from January 1, 2012. However, transporters and the traders can use the extended e-Sugam facility for all commodities as per the Notification.
