Beltangady: SKDRDP Tops Nation in Marketing ‘Jeevan Madhur’ Policy

Beltangady, Dec 2:
“‘Jeevan Madhur’ life insurance policy is available at a nominal premium for those families who are deprived of life cover,” said LIC chief executive officer Hemant Bhargav.
 
He was speaking at a programme felicitating achievers who have sold the highest number of Jeevan Madhur life insurance policies, during a function held at Dharmasthala, here on Thursday December 1.

“Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) tops the nation in marketing Jeevan Madhur life insurance policies launched by LIC to provide life cover to poor families,” he added.
 
Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr Veerendra Heggade presided over the programme.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Heggade said that the masses in the country lack awareness about life insurance coverage which is like an umbrella in the event of tragedy and natural calamities where the insured gets the benefit.
 
Dr Heggade released the value-added Jeevan Madhur life insurance policy launched by LIC.
 
Three directors, two project officers, three overseers, and six project assistants of SKDRDP who achieved highest premium income were felicitated during the programme.
 
Life insurance claims were awarded to Mohini of Melantabettu, Prabhakar of Laila, and Padmavati of Kundapur.
 
LIC Hyderabad regional manager Veerabhadra Rao and Krishna Kulkarni were also present.
 
SKDRDP director Jayashankar Sharma welcomed the gathering.  SKDRDP director T Sampat Kumar presented the report.  LIC divisional manager N S Sirahatti proposed the vote of thanks.  SKDRDP director Manorama Bhat compered the programme.
