Sullia, Dec 2: In an accident which occurred at Palattadka near Kallugundi on Mani-Mysore state highway in the taluk on Thursday December 1, a youth lost his life.
A motor bike and Eicher truck got involved with this accident. Nagesh, who was riding the motor bike, was seriously injured in the accident. He was immediately taken to a hospital in Sullia, but he died before he could be treated.
Nagesh was from Mysore. He had married three months ago. He was working for Meghana Chicken Centre in Sullia. It is learnt that he was returning to Sullia after visiting Kallugundi, when the accident occurred.
The policemen have registered a case against Prabhakar, driver of the truck in question.
