Karkala, Dec 5: After a tipper hit a motor bike near Kuntalpady Bypass near here on Saturday December 3, the bike rider lost his life. The victim has been identified as Rajesh, son of Dogu Moolya, from Nitte Ambadekatte.
Reportedly, the tipper, bound for Anekere from Nitte, hit the motor bike coming from opposite direction. Rajesh, who fell to the ground and suffered grievous injuries, was rushed to a hospital. He did not respond to treatments, and died at Manipal Hospital on Sunday morning.
A case was registered in this connection at town police station here.
