Congratulations and thanks to the Govrnment of Karnataka for constituting the much delayed Christian Development Council. Of the 12 only three are catholics. It is too inadequate represention to Catholics. Moreover, the government has ignored the recommendation of the Bishops. I hope that the govt. will reconsider its decision and give justice to the recommendation of the Bishops. I congratulate Gladys Almeida ,Franklin Monteiro and John DSouza on their appointment to the Committee. I wish them good time at the deliberations to arrive at useful decisions.
