Bellary, Dec 7: Former state minister, B Sriramulu, who is basking in newfound glory after coming out victorious for the third term from Bellary Rural assembly constituency, reiterated on Tuesday that he continues to dream of forming a new political outfit in the state. He asserted that the proposal of joining JDS, JDU, or any other party is out of question for the present.

Speaking to journalists here on Tuesday December 6, Sriramulu said that his new regional party will be quite different from others, and a model political outfit. He added that he has plans to give an entirely new shape to his party. “Even if I finally decide on joining a political party, that decision will be taken after holding detailed discussions with the concerned, and after taking everyone into confidence.  I will not take any unilateral decision on this issue,” he said.

Sriramulu said he will visit Hyderabad immediately after taking oath as an assembly member, to meet his long time friend, G Janardhana Reddy, who is lodged in Chanchalguda jail there.  He said he wants to get the blessings of Reddy before making his next political move.
