Excellent performance on the part of MASA in the Easern Province of Saudi Arabia. Celebraion of five yeas of existence of MASA is a positive evidence that you can establish an Association in Saudi Arabia nowadays and conduct variety entertainments for the benefit of the community.

Mangalorean Association was in existence fifty years ago, but everything had to be organized very discreetely with a low profile. Mangaloreans with the help of Goans and East Indians did organize many social and cultural activities but everything had to be carried out in accordance with the local laws prevailing then.

The Indian Ambassadors used to also take part in our communal activities as and when they visited the Eastern Province but "low profile" was the key.

Congratulations on your fifth anniversary that is well demonstrated by the colorful sarees, pageantry and cheerful gatherings. Keep up the good work. Qudha Afeiz.
