Shocking : Begging Racket Busted, 300 Kids Rescued

Bangalore, Dec 16 (Agencies): A child begging racket has been busted in the IT hub of India. Bangalore police have rescued almost 300 children from a begging racket thriving in the city.

According to a report published in CNN-IBN, the children were drugged and forced to beg by their masters

What’s more shocking is that over a third of these children are infants, all under the age of three.

The babies were given such high doses of drugs that some were asleep even two days after the rescue.

The children were so well trained by their masters that they used to run away immediately after noticing a camera.

Most of the kids rescued have been sent to government homes.

Some child beggars do not want to return to their homes ever as they were forced into this trade by their own parents.

The Bangalore police have video evidence of around 1100 children being forced to beg by suspected traffickers.

However, the masterminds behind this racket are still at large.

An officer of Anti-Trafficking Unit revealed that most of these children are from neighbouring state Andra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh.

What is happening in India, God also may not be aware. His crime register may be running out of pages to note down and punish these people involved in child abuse cases.

It is not a shock or surprise to me. I have already mentioned about child begging racket in Daiji's readers comment forum long back.Even there are some people who do RENT A BABY business. That means they give their babies to these mafias for one day or some hours and take rent from them in return. If police do investigation thoroughly, then big people name will come out.

I bet that if investigations are carried deligently the trail will definitely lead to some bigwig's
or politicians doorstep! Don't think carrying such a filthy operation in such proportions is possible without 'crooked' minds and we all know to whom this belongs to! The 'root' must be found but alas in India all such operations are ped midway
because and solely because of political interventions and connections-

Really shocking........ news. Child begging should be made a crime and those who initiate children into begging should be jailed irrespective of relationship and reasons. There are child begging mafia in mumbai too. THE MAIN REASON FOR THIS IS BRIBE CULTURE prevailing in India.

This is a serious issue and police should bust mafia leaders who are using small innocent children. Those behind this heinous crime need to put them behind the jail permanently. Childrens are used for begging by disfiguring, drugging and in many more methods. Here in KSA also it was widespread.
