Kundapur: Social Activist Mohammed Saheb Kodi Passes Away

Kundapur, Dec 16: Sixty-two-year-old Mohammed Saheb, a resident of Kodi, and chairman of town council steering committee, passed away due to cardiac arrest on Thursday December 15.

He had served as chairman of Kodi Urdu School managing committee and a member of Bearys School governing council.  He was a local Congress leader and was well-known in the society for his social welfare work.  Saheb also served as chairman of Kodi Jumma Masjid and member of the Jamaat-ul-Falah unit.

Veteran Congress leaders Oscar Fernandes, Vinay Kumar Sorake, Pratapchandra Shetty, Jayaprakash Hegde, and Jacob D’Souza expressed their condolences on the demise of Saheb.
He is survived by his wife, eight sons, and four daughters.
