Mangalore: Father Muller Charitable Institution Installs New Cummings Generator

Mangalore, Dec 19: Due to power cut or load shedding and additional need for more electricity power supply, Father Muller Charitable Institution went for a new Cummings Generator (DG set) of 1250 KVA which is the biggest installation in Mangalore City Corporation so far.

This will meet the electricity need of the entire Institution. The generator is fully automatic, with Auto Transfer Switch (ATS), cooling tower, aquistic work, exhaust and chimney. The entire project is of Rs 2 crores worth.

The Generator is installed by Maroor Sales, Mangalore and commissioned by High Tech Services Bangalore and Panel work is done by J.P Industry Baikampady and Karavali Switch Gears, Baikampady. The cabling work is done by Padmoppa Engineering, Mangalore.

Another project which was thought long ago and has been realized is the Central Liquid Medical Oxygen Supply Plant which started functioning to supply oxygen to the Hospital. This project is of nearly 10 lakhs. The BOC Company Bangalore commissioned the plant, while civil work was done by Rajesh Construction, Mangalore.

The inauguration of the Oxygen Plant was done by Fr Patrick Rodrigues, director of Father Muller Charitable Institution and Gen Set was inaugurated by Fr Richard Coelho the Administrator of the Father Muller Medical College Hospital and Fr Patrick Rodrigues, Director blessed these equipments.

The MC / advisory committee members along with a few other connected department heads were present.  The technical staff of Gen Set & BOC Plant were present and they explained the functioning.

The administrator Fr Richard Coelho welcomed all the members. Director thanked specially Michael, maintenance supervisor who co-ordinated all the work till date and saw that things went on well and ready on time.
