Kuwait, Dec 9: As a part of their social service, Billava Sangha Kuwait (BSK), organized a medical camp in coordination with Shifa Al Jazeera Medical Centre, Fahaheel on December 6 which was open to all.
The camp started early in the morning and continued till afternoon. About 85 people, including Indians and other nationalities availed the benefits of the free health check up services.
The free health check-up package included the tests for blood glucose, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, ECG (above 40 years or as advised by doctor) followed by free consultation with specialized doctors (general physician, dental and ophthalmology).
Privilege Cards were issued to all the participants, which offers discounts in various lab tests and consultations till 31st Dec-2025 at all three centers – Shifa Al Jazeera Medical Centre, Fahaheel & Farwaniya and at Al Nahil Int’l Clinic, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh.
It was a flawless event, and the entire programme was executed to near perfection. The main highlights of the camp are excellent crowd management, close follow-up with each participant and perfect time management which resulted in bare minimum waiting time for the participants. This was achieved by the active participation of BSK-welfare officer Charan Raj Suvarna and joint welfare officer Dayanand Amin, BSK committee members and the necessary cooperation from the staff of Shifa Al Jazeera medical Centre.
Shifa Al Jazeera Medical Centre - administration manager, Gunaseelan Pillai Narain, thanked BSK for their noble work towards community welfare and happy to be associated in future events as well.
BSK president Amaranth Suvarna thanked Gunaseelan Pillai Narain and staff of Shifa Al Jazeera Medical Centre for their whole-hearted support while general secretary Prashanth Poojary thanked BSK management & committee members for the successful planning and execution of medical camp.
Billava Sangha Kuwait had organized this free medical camp as one of their many welfare activities which are being carried out in Kuwait as well as in India.
