Udupi: SMVITM Students win prizes in National-Level Technical Symposium "PLASMA 2K24

Udupi, Dec 9: The students of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management have won prizes at "PLASMA 2K24," a prestigious national-level technical symposium hosted by J N N College of Engineering, Shivamogga, on December 6 and 7, 2024.

Tejas Nayak, a second-year student of Computer Science & Engineering; Bhushan Poojary, a second-year student of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science; and Poornanda and Shivam Shetty, both second-year students of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, secured first place in the "Code-Spirit" Hackathon. This 7-hour coding challenge witnessed participation from 72 teams nationwide. After rigorous preliminary rounds, only 16 teams advanced to the finals, where SMVITM's team exhibited exceptional skill, innovation, and teamwork.

This outstanding achievement highlights the team's technical expertise and problem-solving abilities, distinguishing them as among the brightest young talents in the nation.

The management, principal, vice principal, and co-Curricular Coordinator have congratulated them on their commendable accomplishment.
