Mangalore: City Tempo Owners, Drivers Seek Separate Parking

Mangalore, Dec 20: A delegation of city tempo owners and drivers union affiliated to Dakshina Kannada Workers Union, led by founder president Ivan D’Souza, met ACP (traffic) Subramanya, on Monday December 19, to urge the district and local administration to provide separate parking facility for goods tempos both within the city  and on the outskirts of the city.

The delegation also urged ACP Subramanya to announce official parking for goods tempos at Navabharat Circle in the city.

Tempo owners and drivers Deepak, Rajanna, Sanjeev, Chandrashekar Shetty, Narayan Poojary, Chandrakant, Laxminarayan Naik, Taranat, Nelson, Yogish, Samir, Nagaraj, Gangadhar, Satish Kamat, Pushparaj, Rakesh, Pradeep, Keshav, Chandra, Sharat Bhat, Jeevan, Nagu, Basavaraj Gowda, Vijay Kumar, Babu Shetty, Vijay, and Ritesh were present on the occasion.

ACP Subramanya assured the delegation that appropriate action will be taken in this regard.
