Mumbai, Dec 11: Students of Ryan Group of Schools had the unique opportunity to meet and interact with Dayanand Shetty, renowned for his portrayal of Daya in the iconic television series CID, on his birthday on December 11.
The students visited Dayanand Shetty at his residence, where they celebrated his birthday by singing “Happy Birthday” and wishing him good health and happiness. They expressed their gratitude for his inspiring work in the television industry and prayed for his continued success.
The celebration was followed by an engaging interactive session filled with joy and excitement. Students from across India asked the actor questions about his journey in acting, his school days, and pursuing a career in television. Dayanand Shetty shared insights into his career, emphasizing the importance of complete dedication and giving one’s best in every endeavor.
He recounted how his journey from theater to television began, with his distinctive voice playing a significant role in landing his iconic role in CID. He also shared amusing anecdotes about fans mistaking him for a real-life cop and requesting his help in solving crimes.
The session was live-streamed to all Ryan Group schools across India, enabling a wider audience of students to participate in the interaction.
