Karkala: Pedestrian Knocked Down and Killed by Truck

Karkala, Dec 21: In a road accident which occurred at Noojiguri in Ajekar, Marne village near here on Tuesday December 20, a pedestrian was killed.

The victim has been identified as Sheena (40), son of Bogra from Chatkalpade in Muniyal, Varanga village. Sheena was walking towards Ajekar from Muniyal, when the killer truck approached him from behind. He was grievously injured in the accident, and was critically injured. He was later carried to the government hospital here through an ambulance. He did not respond to treatments there.

On a complaint made by Sundar, a case was registered in Ajekar police station.
