Kundapur, Dec 23: Srinivasulu (55), a native if Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh, died on the night of Wednesday December 21, after the tourist bus in which he was travelling hit a banyan tree while negotiating a steep road at Idoor Kunjadi in the taluk.
Srinivasulu was travelling in the bus along with a number of other Ayyappa devotees. A number of other passengers of the bus were injured in the incident. They were provided treatment in hospital.
A case about the incident was registered in Kollur police station.
