RVD is a Saraswath and always active in community/religious activities. He has actively participated/involved in Vishwa Konkani Kendra activities in Mangalore. He is a patron of all GSB activities in Mangalore and Bangalore. As a staunch believer, there is nothing wrong in his participation in Vajapeya Yaga which is rarely to see now a days,so might have participated.Though the said Yaga might have sponsored by Sangh activists like Sarvajanik Ganeshothsava in Sangha Niketana in Mangalore,is open to all Hindus to take part.Attachinh any political color for his visit is wrong.

IF RVD ATTENDS YAGA IT IS FOR THE WELFARE OF THE STATE. IF BSY ATTENDS IT IS FOR SELF INTEREST. WHAT IS LOGIC BEHIND TWO POLITICIANS VISIT. IF WE APPLY IN OUR LIFE SOME PEOPLE OFFER PRAYERS
PERIODICALLY WITH CLEAN HEART MAY BE WITH SELF/FAMILY'S INTEREST. LIKEWISE BSY VISITS ALMOST ALL DEVINE PLACES WHERE AS RVD OCCASSIONALLY ONCE IN A WHILE. "SANKATA BANDAGA VENKATARAMANA"
