Karkala: Woman Drowns in Tank

Karkala, Dec 25: Sunita Jain (45) from Bomaru Mane in Shirlalu village near Hebri, lost her her life, after drowning in a tank near her home on Saturday December 24.

Reportedly, Jain, who switched on the pump to water her garden, was surprised as water did not get pumped. It is said that she peeped into the tank to look for unusual things if any which were responsible for the non-functioning of the pump. Instantly, she slipped and fell into the tank, it is said.

Parshwanath Jain, brother-in-law of Sunita, filed a report about this unnatural death in Ajekar police station.
