Karkala: Youth Stabbed by Elder Brother in Serious Condition

Karkala, Dec 28: After getting angry over his younger brother relating to a minor issue, a man stabbed his younger brother, seriously injuring him in the bargain. The incident occurred at Nandalike village under Belmannu gram panchayat.

Benny Vincent D’Souza (30) from Nandalike was injured in the incident. It is said that Benny and his elder brother, Roshan, were having liquor together on Christmas night. When Benny sought more liquor from his elder brother, Roshan got angry. After exchange of heated words, he threatened to torch the house, and spilled some kerosene on the floor. After Benny objected to this behavior, Roshan got more angry and stabbed Banny in the back with a knife, it is alleged.
