Bhatkal, Dec 29: The 44th Annual Sports Meet of Anjuman Pre University College was held here at Anjuman College Ground Anjumanabad on Tuesday December 28.

Chief guest and principal of Government First Grade College Dr I R Khan in his inaugural address said that sportsmanship and education inside the class room are equal, loosing and winning is not important here rather participation and contribution is very important.

He also discussed about future programmes to be introduced in the college to improve learning and also welcomed suggestions from parents and teachers.

Vice president of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Qashmji Mohammed Ansar in his address said that an active spirit is essential for the sportsman.

College Board secretary Javeed Hussain Armar, principle of Anjuman PU College Riyaz Ahmed Jagirdar, principle of Anjuman degree college Nazir Ahmed were also present on dais.

Physical education director Prof Kalimullah proposed vote of thanks and Prof AR Khan compered.
