Udupi: Media Centre Set Up at Sodhe Mutt Ahead of ‘Paryaya Mahotsava’

Udupi, Dec 30: Town councilor Kiran Kumar, on Thursday December 29, inaugurated the media centre that was set up at Sodhe Mutt, ahead of Swami Vishvawallabateerta’s ‘Paryaya Mahotsava’, here.

Yashpal Suvarna, information and broadcasting officer M Junjanna, Consumers’ Grievances Forum convener Damodar Aithal, Paryaya reception committee secretary Ratna Kumar, and Dr Vijayendra were present on the occasion.

A grand welcome will be accorded to Swami Vishvawallabateerta, to the accompaniment of Kerala musicians, Nasik band, Tulunadu trumpets, folk dances, and traditional horse-dancers at 4.00 pm on Monday January 2, ahead of the public felicitation programme.

    May I request the authorities of Sree Sode mutt to kindly arrange sale of religious books,bhajans,stotras by great seer Sree Vadirajaswamy for the benifit of interested people.It would be a great help from mutt side on the occasion of Udupi Paryaya 2012.
