Udupi: Nrutya Vidushi Dr Rashmi Kalkura’s ‘Arangetram’ Held at Sri Krishna Mutt

Udupi, Dec 31: The ‘Arangetram’ of Kuchupidi dancer Nrutya Vidushi Dr Rashmi Kalkura was held at Sri Krishna Mutt Rajangan, recently.  It was organized by Radhakrishna Nrutya Niketan ®.

Swami Laxmivarateerta of Shiroor Mutt inaugurated the programme. Nrutya Vidhushi Veena M Samaga was felicitated during the programme.

Religious leader Harikrishna Punaroor presided over the programme. Nrutya Vidhushi Sulochana V Bhat, Prof M L Samaga, and Dr Y N Shetty were the chief guests on the occasion.

Nrutya Vidhushi Dr Rashmi Kalkura’s parents Ratna and Ramakrishna Kalkura, dance teacher Prema R Tantri, and Radhakrishna Nrutya Niketan convener Muralidar Samagar were also present.

Ajit Kalkura welcomed the gathering. R
anjan Kalkura proposed the vote of thanks and Dr Vijayendra Vasant compered the programme.
