Mangalore: Suresh Bhandary Shootout Case - Acchangi Mahesh in Police Custody

Mangalore, Jan 1: With regard to the shootout case of Prithvi Developers' Suresh Bhandary in May 2011, police have taken into 5-day custody Mahesh alias Acchangi Mahesh who is already serving a life imprisonment at Mysore Jail.

Mahesh was involved in several attacks at Mangalore, Udupi (on a Jeweller Cashier and Security Guard) and also some of the shootout incidences at Mysore which raised the suspicions of police. Due to this he was taken into custody on Saturday December 31.

Police have already arrested 8 persons related to Suresh Bhandary case.
