Daijiworld Media Network – Karkala (SP)

Karkala, Jan 2: Dr Pallavi Suvarna (31), a practicing dentist from the town, and her six-year-old daughter, Sakshi, lost their lives in a gruesome accident which occurred at Baleguli near Ankola in Uttara Kannada district on the evening of Sunday January 1. Her husband, Dr Sukesh Suvarna, who is also a dentist, was critically injured in the accident.

Dr Pallavi had been on a visit to her parental home in Belgaum, along with her daughter. Her husband went to Belgaum on Saturday to bring both of them back.  While returning, the car suddenly went out of control and tumbled down. As a result, the mother-daughter duo lost lives instantly.

It is learnt that Dr Sukesh also suffered from mental shock due to the sudden turn of events, in addition to grave bodily injuries. He is being treated in a hospital.
