Mangalore, Jan 11: The ONGC-MRPL International Kite Festival 2012 logo was unveiled on Wednesday January 11 by U K Basu, managing director of MRPL in the presence of P P Upadhyaya, technical director and Vishnu Agarwal, finance director at MRPL.
      
The International Kite Festival sponsored mainly by ONGC-MRPL will be held on January 21 and 22 at Panambur Beach, here 2.30 pm onwards. Kite contest for engineering students will be held on January 21 at the same venue at 3 pm.

As many as 17 internationally known kite fliers  from eight countries would be participating in this event. MRPL and ONGC are sponsoring the international event for the fourth time in Mangalore.

P S Ravindran - GGM(Finance), K Lakshminaryana - GGM(HR), Sanjay Dixit - GM(CC & CSR), Sushilchandra -GM(HR) and Lekshmi Kumaran DGM ( CC&CSR) among others were present. Also Giridhar Kamath, Nitin J Shetty, Subhash Pai, Prashant Upadhyaya, Shashank Shetty and Harsha Samrajya  of Team Mangalore were present.

B Sarvesha Rao and Dinesh Holla of Team Mangalore presented a kite to each of the dignitaries.

Sarvesh Rao of Team Mangalore thanked both MRPL and ONGC for the continued support for organizing this festival, which is well known at International Levels.
