Mangalore, Jan 12: Kuppepadavu Church celebrated parish feast and launched church website, www.kuppepadavuchurch.com on 11-01-2012 at 10.00 am.
Immaculate Heart of Marry Church, which is kuppepadavu church is situated in a small moderately populated town called Kuppepadavu located 30KM from Mangalore city.
1). Church Feast is celebrated :
Fr.Assisi Rebello who previously served Kuppepadavu parish was the main celebrant along with 17 other priests from various parishes offered mass. The parish priest Fr.Rosario Fernandes honored the sponsors of the celebration with the candles; moreover he thanked all who had contributed to the success of the celebration of the feast. Earlier on Jan 8th celebrated the feast of confraternity :
The feast of confraternity was celebrated with traditional joy and gaiety on Sunday 8th January at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Kuppepadavu
Fr.Deep Fernandes offered the Holy Mass along with Fr.Fedrick Rosario and parish priest Fr.Rosario Fernandes. The mass was followed by the procession of Eucharist.
The Eucharist was taken in procession in the streets of kuppepadavu with hundreds of parishioner’s marching with the musical band,choir,altar boys and little children’s with flowers and demonstrated their homage to Jesus Christ who is present in Eucharist. Finally the procession concluded with Eucharistic blessing.
2). Church website, kuppepadavuchurch is launched
Website www.Kuppepadavuchurch .com has been launched by Vicar Forane V.Rev.Fr.Roque D'Souza of Bantwal Deanery and Parish Priest of Modankap church.
Fr.Rosario Fernandes, Parish Priest, Kuppepadavu mentioned that he feels extremely great as he had a long standing desire about having church website as many churches have their own website some even more than one.
In fact he had expressed it on the occasion of Nativity of Mother Mary i.e. 08-09-2011,as her Immaculate Heart is parish patron, within a very short period, Mr.Gratian Rosario and his friends came forward, worked on it, constructed www.kuppepadavuchurch.com , church website.
“Communication” is today’s most important word and a website is most recent and powerful media. Today Kuppepadavu people have spread all over the world. Kuppepdavu people around the globe, will be very much pleased with this website . Parish will try to give the best coverage of what is happening in and around the church.

The youth association, ICYM Kuppepadavu entertained the people with various stalls of games after the mass at the church ground.
