Mangalore, Jan 13: The sixth anniversary celebrations of Kannada fortnightly bulletin ‘Prastuta’, published by city-based Stuti Publications and Information Trust, will be held at Don Bosco Hall, on Friday January 13.
Popular Front of India (PFI) state president Ilyas Mohammed Thumbe will inaugurate the programme.
K M Sheriff, chief editor, ‘Prastuta’, is going to preside over the programme.
Krishnapura Al Badriya Pre-University College principal Zohara Abbas, Kannada litterateur Shantaram Somayaji and Chikmagalur Information and broadcasting department assistant director B A Khader Sha will be present on the occasion.
Renowned litterateur and researcher Professor B M Ichangodu will deliver the keynote address.
Kannada poet Jyoti Guruprasad will release K Y Abdul Hameed authored ‘E Dina Chandira’, a collection of Kannada stories, during the programme.
