Mangaluru, Feb 25: The much-anticipated ASTRA 2.0, an all-India intercollegiate sports and cultural fest organized by Yenepoya Allied Healthcare Professions, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), concluded on February 22 with a grand valedictory ceremony. The week-long extravaganza, held from February 17 to 22, brought together students from various allied and healthcare institutions across India, celebrating talent, teamwork, and cultural vibrancy.

Building on the success of ASTRA '24, this year's edition saw an even larger participation from colleges in Karnataka, Kerala, Assam, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. The festival showcased high-energy sports competitions, including football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, throwball, and futsal, fostering a spirit of sportsmanship and excellence among students.

Parallel to the sports events, the cultural segment featured mesmerizing performances in solo and group dance (classical, eastern, and western), solo singing, fashion shows, mehendi, face painting, photography, reel competitions, debates, essay writing, and poem writing contests.

The valedictory ceremony, graced by esteemed dignitaries, faculty, and students, marked the culmination of an eventful week.
