Mangaluru: St Agnes College inaugurates ‘APL 2025 – Season 03’

Mangaluru, Mar 1: The Agnes Premier League (APL) 2025 – Season 03 was successfully inaugurated on February 27 at St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru.

The highlight of the event was the official declaration of APL 2025 – Season 03 by principal Sr Dr M Venissa AC, who also unveiled the trophies. In her address to the gathering, inspiring the players with words of encouragement on the spirit of eagerness, enthusiasm, commitment and sportsmanship. She mentioned that it speaks volumes of students of their courage and willingness to face the challenges in the future.

The event, organized by the department of physical education and the programme was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including principal Sr Dr M Venissa AC, vice principal Sr Dr Roopa Rodrigues, physical education director Dr Tangarani, and student coordinator Salman Farish.

The inaugural ceremony was hosted by Vinston Joy Menezes, vice president of the MBA department. It commenced with a prayer song by the college choir team, followed by a welcome speech delivered by Smrithi, a 2nd-year BCA student.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Venessa, a 2nd-year MBA student, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty, participants, and organizers. Following the formal inauguration, the APL 2025 matches commenced, setting the stage for an exciting season filled with competitive spirit and enthusiasm.
