Media Release

Udupi, Mar 1: The students of St Cecily’s Kindergarten set off on a remarkable journey, filled with joy, discovery, and valuable lessons on February 25. The group of young adventurers were accompanied by their teachers.

The first stop was the Udupi Fire Station, where the children were warmly greeted by the firefighters. The young learners were captivated by an engaging demonstration on fire safety, learning how these everyday heroes protect lives and property. Their eyes lit up with excitement as they saw fire engines, hoses, and rescue operations in action, deepening their appreciation for the work of fire fighters.

Next, the children made their way to the Malpe Police Station, where the local officers welcomed them with kindness and enthusiasm. The officers shared important insights about their role in maintaining law and order, ensuring safety in the community. The students had plenty of questions, and the officers answered them patiently, making the visit both educational and inspiring.

The adventure continued with a trip to the stunning Hoode and Malpe Beaches. The vast sea and breathtaking view left the children in awe. Although they were unable to enter the water for safety reasons, the children enjoyed the cool breeze, golden sands, and the soothing sound of the waves, creating a magical experience for everyone.

After taking in the beauty of nature, the young adventurers headed to Kalmady Church, where students had their delicious and refreshing lunch. The peaceful surroundings provided a perfect setting for the children to relax, chat with friends, and recharge before returning to school.

By 1:45 pm, the students were back at school, their hearts full of joy and their minds enriched by the day's experiences. This fun-filled, educational trip was a perfect blend of learning and excitement, leaving the children with cherished memories they will treasure for years to come.
