Mangaluru, Mar 6: St Aloysius Gonzaga School facilitated a student exchange programme with Istituto Leone XIII, a prestigious Jesuit school in Milan, Italy from February 22 to March 2. A team of six class XI students accompanied by three staff members participated in this enriching experience, marking the second successful collaboration between the two institutions.
The programme encompassed lesson observation sessions, host family visits and exploration of Milan's iconic landmarks, offering the participants a comprehensive understanding of the Italian educational system and culture.












The team visited the ancient city of Verona, the historic Cattolica University, and the renowned Polytechnic University-Wind Tunnel of Milan. A memorable highlight of the trip was witnessing a live soccer match at the iconic San Siro Stadium. This exchange not only offered valuable insights into academic practices, local cuisine and modes of transport but also fostered cross-cultural understanding and global friendships.
The programme served as a platform for nurturing international cooperation and strengthening the bond between the two Jesuit institutions, paving the way for future collaborations.
