Srinivas University Institute of Aviation Studies organizes 'Nava Avishkaar'

Mangaluru, Mar 6: The Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University organized most anticipated inter-class management fest Nava Avishkaar on March 4 in their campus at Hampankatta. The MBA aviation studies students, under the guidance of the faculty of the Institute of Aviation Studies, organized the event for the BBA Aviation Studies students. The management fest Nava Avishkaar provided a dynamic platform for students to exhibit their skills through a series of competitive and engaging events.

The event featured the series of management activities such as Nabhothara – aviation event, Naya Traya - best management team event, Dhruva - best manager, Drishya Darpan - reel making Event, Vittasashtra - finance event, Prabandhan - human resource event, Yakthi- marketing event. Nava Avishkar aimed to foster innovation, leadership, and teamwork by providing students a platform to apply theory in practice, enhancing problem-solving, strategic thinking, and managerial skills.

The unwavering support and encouragement from Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University played a crucial role in the success of the fest. The dean's vision for fostering innovation and leadership among students was reflected in the enthusiasm and quality of participation. Anjana T V, HOD, Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University consistently provided support and encouragement to the students. Roshin K Sibi, PG course coordinator, along with Deekshitha, management forum coordinator, worked diligently to facilitate and organize the event. Their dedicated efforts ensured smooth execution of the event.

The Nava Avishkar competition witnessed exceptional talent and enthusiasm, with students showcasing their skills across various management domains. In the Yukthi (marketing) competition, Arun and Shravan from 1st year BBA (aviation management) emerged as winners, while Prajnesh and Tanveer Singh from 1st year BBA (aviation and logistics management) bagged the second place.

In the Nabhothara (aviation) competition, Harshitha from 2nd year BBA (aviation and logistics management) secured the winner's title, while Sayeed Adeeb from 2nd year BBA (aviation management) secured the second place. In the Vittashastra (finance) competition, Shilpa and Prapthi from 1st year BBA (aviation management) emerged as winners, while Ahamed Muzzamil and Al Ameen from 1st year BBA (aviation and logistics management) secured the runners-up position.

In the Naya Traya (best management team) competition, Deekshitha, Pooja, and Suhaf Abdul Khader from the Final Year emerged as winners. In the Prabandhan (human resource) competition, Gouri Giri and Thaha from 2nd year BBA (aviation and logistics management) bagged the second place, while Mohammed Shanid and Vishwajith from the final year BBA (aviation and logistics management) emerged as runners-up. In the Drishya Darpan (reels making competition), Anandakrishnan and Haneen from the final year emerged as winners, while Shammas and Moideen Shahid from the final year BBA (aviation and logistics management) secured the runners-up position. In the Dhruva (best manager) competition, Meenakshi from 1st year BBA (aviation management) emerged as the winner. Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, presented the certificates and medals to the winners and congratulated both the winners and all the participants.
