Udupi, Mar 6: Students from CSI Lombard Memorial College of Nursing (Mission Hospital) received nine different ranks in the annual examinations conducted by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru for BSc Nursing programme.
The exams were conducted in December 2024 to January 2025. The ranks were published after the announcement of the results for the batch of 2020- 2024 in February 2025.

The second batch of BSc Nursing students from CSI Lombard Memorial College of Nursing (Mission Hospital) received nine different ranks. More than 500 nursing colleges are affiliated and functioning under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. There were total of 17 subjects for BSc Nursing programme. For every subject, a total of 10 ranks were announced by the University, for students across the state of Karnataka.
CSI Lombard Memorial College of Nursing, Udupi was established in the year 2019. Only one student had got a rank in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the first batch of graduates.
The management and faculty of the college are proud of the second batch of the students who achieved an outstanding success by securing the ranks in the University examinations. This exceptional accomplishment is through their dedication, perseverance, hard work and academic excellence. From both first and second batch more than 95% of the students secured distinction or first class which shows the commitment and coordination of the teaching & clinical staff of the college and hospital.
The rank holders from the second batch are as follows:
Lavanya Pearl Gojar, a 3rd-year student in child health nursing, secured rank 1 in her field. In her 1st year, she achieved rank 6 in nutrition & biochemistry and rank 10 in both psychology and microbiology.
Megha Mallappa Bajantri, a 1st-year student, secured rank 8 in microbiology, while in her 3rd year, she attained rank 10 in nursing research & statistics.
Sharon Elizabeth earned rank 7 in Microbiology during her 1st year. Rekha Mohanan secured rank 9 in Nutrition & Biochemistry in her 1st year. Megha Suresh Kallatti also achieved rank 10 in Microbiology during her 1st year.
Lombard Memorial Hospital was established in 1923 and providing excellent medical care facilities to the people of the costal Karnataka, though its various departments spread over 150 beds. The institution celebrated its centenary year in 2023.
