Media Release

Mangaluru, Mar 10: The nursery and pre-nursery students of Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru participated in a special activity on “Community Helpers” on March 7.

The day began with a heartfelt prayer and a prayer song, setting a thoughtful tone for the event. The activity aimed to introduce young children to the various community helpers who play a vital role in society.

The little heroes from the pre-nursery and nursery section arrived dressed as their favourite community helpers, including policemen, barbers, drivers, tailors, farmers, chefs, doctors, teachers etc. With great enthusiasm, they spoke a few sentences about the roles and responsibilities of the community helpers they portrayed.

Sr Asha Prima, along with the teachers, engaged the children in discussions about the invaluable services these professionals provide. They also encouraged the students to appreciate and respect the hard work of community helpers.

The activity was not only an enjoyable experience but also a meaningful learning opportunity, helping the children understand the world beyond their homes and the importance of those who contribute to society.
