Dammam, Mar 15: The Saudi Billawas Dammam Association held its general assembly, reaffirming its commitment to the teachings of Sri Narayana Guru and its mission to support the underprivileged. The association emphasized providing financial and medical assistance to the exploited, helpless, and economically backward sections of society.

Prominent Billava community leader and social worker Satish Kumar Anchan Bajal stressed the urgent need for a medical college. He urged the management board of Sri Kshetra Gejjegiri to prioritize the establishment of a medical institute and called upon all Billava associations, both in India and abroad, to contribute financially toward this cause.

Senior leader Shri Sadashiva Poojary highlighted the role of Billava associations in the progress of society, inspired by Narayana Guru’s teachings. He emphasized the importance of education for the youth and the need to raise awareness about health. He also assured his full support for the construction of the medical institution.

Yakshagana Bhagavatha artiste Roshan Kotian and senior leader Anand Poojary provided valuable guidance during the event. Sundar Das Poojary and Vishwanath Poojary, who were present on stage, also addressed the gathering.

A new committee for the year 2025-26 was formed in the presence of Harish Poojary, Arun Bangera, Manohar Amin, the Billava Warriors News team, and other dignitaries. The program commenced with a prayer by Yashwant Sanil, followed by a welcome speech by Roshan Kotian and concluded with a vote of thanks by Harish Poojary.
