Dubai, Mar 16: Uswas Shirva had a successful event on Sunday, March 9. The blood donation camp was organised under the leadership of Lavina Menezes at the Dubai Blood Donation Centre which is a great example of community engagement and service. It was inspiring to see people from different backgrounds coming together to support this drive ‘Be a hero, save lives’.

The fact that Uswas regularly organises such campaigns demonstrates their commitment to making a positive difference, and it’s wonderful to see the Dubai Blood Donation Centre recognising their efforts. The appreciation certificates for the donors, along with snacks and fruits, surely made the event even more memorable for everyone involved.

Uswas, in the UAE, is a group of dedicated members born or belonging to the parish of Our Lady of Health Church - Shirva. This well-established association has consistently rendered its constant service in various fields for the past 22 years.

The association abides and drives its spirit with the motto ‘Lend a hand not for self, but for each other’. Driven by this motto, the group extends humanitarian service to promote the quality of life.
