Mangaluru, Mar 22: Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University organised a six-day Student Development programme (SDP) on ‘Personality development, grooming & etiquettes’ from March 17 to March 22 in their campus at Hampankatta, Mangaluru. The programme aimed to enhance students’ personal and professional skills, helping them build confidence and refine their overall presentation.
The sessions were conducted by Aishwarya, Miss Karnataka 2022, Miss Queen South 2024, Miss Ramp Walk 2024, and top finalist of Miss South India 2023.
The first session, ‘How to build confidence and overcome fear,’ focused on techniques to boost self-assurance. The second session on ‘Grooming and personal hygiene’ highlighted the importance of maintaining a well-groomed appearance. ‘Dressing and styling,’ the third session, provided insights into appropriate attire for various occasions.
The fourth session on ‘Etiquettes’ educated students on social and business etiquette, while the final sessions, ‘Public speaking,’ trained students in effective communication and speech delivery.





The student development programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University and under the leadership of Anjana TV, HoD, Institute of aviation studies, Srinivas University.
The six-day student development programme successfully equipped students with essential personal and professional skills, fostering confidence, self-presentation, and effective communication. The participants gained valuable insights into grooming, etiquette, and public speaking, which will undoubtedly aid them in their academic and professional journeys.
