Bahrain, Mar 30: The Kudlothsava 2025, in association with Karnataka Social Club, hosted a Rummy Tournament for Bahrain CPR holders from Karnataka, India. The event took place on March 25, 2025, at 8:30 PM onwards at the Karnataka Social Club, Bahrain. The winner of the tournament received a trophy and a cash prize of $80, while the runner-up was awarded a trophy and a cash prize of $50. The entry fee for the tournament was 2 BD per player.
The tournament was coordinated by Dhanu Rai, Kaushik Suvarna, and Herald Almeida.







Rummy, a strategic card-melding game, has deep historical roots in India. The Mughals played a game called Ganjifa, which eventually led to the evolution of various card games in the 16th century. Originally a court game played with lavishly designed decks, Indian Rummy has now become a widely popular game of skill and strategy across the Indian subcontinent.
Winners
The champions of the Kudlothsava 2025 Rummy Tournament, held at the Karnataka Social Club, Bahrain, have been announced.
Loy D'Souza emerged as the winner and was awarded a trophy along with a cash prize of $80. Sandra Dcosta secured the runner-up position and received a trophy and a cash prize of $50.
Both winners were recognized for their remarkable skill and strategy. The organizers expressed gratitude to all participants for their enthusiastic involvement, which contributed to the event's success.
