Udupi, Jan 18: Ranjita R Poojary, a Class VII student of St Joseph’s Higher Primary School, Belman, bagged the gold in the South India Open Karate Championship organized by Star Karate Sports Club ®, Chikmagalur, at Tarikere recently.

She is the daughter of Ravi and Ramita Poojary residing in Belman.
