Kasargod, Feb 9: A series of thefts were reported from Kuttikolu, near here, on Tuesday February 7.
The thieves have stolen Rs 1,500 from Samas Electronics Shop owned by C Madhav, Rs 15,000 from Irianni P Suresh Kumar’s Kuttikolu Traders, Rs 1,500 from P K Reji’s P K Traders, Rs 600 from P K Pradip’s Archana Fancy, Rs 5,000 from Kundangui Sunil Kumar’s Malutti Textiles, and Rs 1,500 from Uduma Damodar’s Surabi Traders.
The police sources suspect a group of thieves who had arrived at Kuttikolu at about 7.00 pm on Tuesday and bought a pickaxe and iron rod from a nearby shop. Meanwhile, the investigations are underway.
