Udupi, Feb 11: “The ‘Paryaya’ event that has been recorded by photography will remain forever in digital technology.  It will serve the future generations in knowing about the splendor of the Paryaya,” said Swami Vishwavallabateerta of Sodhe Mutt.

He was speaking during the prize distribution ceremony of ‘Sodhe Paryaya-2012’, the state level photography competitions titled ‘Paryaya Memorable Moments’, held at Rajangan, Sri Krishna Mutt, on Friday February 10.

Swami Vishwavallabateerta presented the first prize to Prabhakar of city-based Genius Graphics, second prize to the photojournalist Janardhan Kodavoor, third prize to Ajit Ambalapady, and consolation prizes to Surabhi Studio proprietor Ratan Shetty, Pratvi Uppoor, and Nagesh Vasudev Prabhu.

Krishna Mutt diwan Padigar Srinivas Tantri, SKPA central committee vice president Ganesh Kundapur, SKPA Udupi zonal president Sridar Shettigar, chief secretary Dhananjay Poojary, and treasuer Anish Shettigar were present.
