Mangaluru, Nov 28: A distinguished and inspiring series of student accomplishments illuminated the academic year, as learners of St Agnes School (CBSE) rose to remarkable heights across district, state and national platforms. Their achievements stood as compelling evidence of disciplined effort, creative brilliance and exceptional sporting prowess, collectively reaffirming the institution’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals who excel with confidence, courage and distinction.
Reishan Maria Fernandes (VIII D) earned honour at the state-level creative essay writing competition in Kannada, having been selected for the state round through her commendable performance at the district level. Her imaginative expression, command over the language and literary finesse distinguished her at the competition. Held on November 18 and 19 at Bala Bhavana Society, Cubbon Udyayana Vana, Bengaluru, the event concluded with Reishan being honoured with the traditional Mysore Peta, a ceremonial shawl, a memento and a garland, marking the prestige of the recognition.






Continuing the streak of artistic excellence, Diona Murel Pais (VII C) secured the first prize in the WizKids Carnival All India Kids Premier League – Dance Wizards Challenge. Her graceful and energetic dance performance earned high praise from the judges, establishing her as a true “Dancing Star” and showcasing her remarkable talent on a national platform.
In the field of sports, Dhriti Shetty (X B) brought honour to the institution by securing First Place in Point Fight at the Asmita Kickboxing League 2025–26, organised by the Dakshina Kannada District Kickboxing Association under the aegis of Khelo India. The event, held at Father Muller Indoor Stadium, Mangaluru, on November 23, witnessed spirited participation from young athletes, and Dhriti’s accomplishment highlighted her agility, precision and competitive strength.
Adding further distinction, Vaishnavi (X A) demonstrated outstanding skill at the National Level Open Karate Championship organised by the Impact Art & Sports Karate Academy. Held at Kurunji Janaki Venkatrama Gouda Sabhavana, Sullia, on November 22–23, the championship brought together participants from across the country. Vaishnavi secured second place in individual kumite and third place in individual kata in the U-15 category, reaffirming her technical excellence, discipline and unwavering focus.
Closing the series of achievements, Ehani E (IV C) emerged as the winner in the lower beginner category at the PBA Cup 2025 Badminton Tournament, held on November 13 and 14 at Father Muller Indoor Stadium, while Kashni K Poojary (II D) secured third place in the same category. Their accomplishments reflected exceptional dedication and talent, inspiring their peers to strive for excellence.
