Mangaluru, Nov 29: Srinivas Yoga–Sanskrit Studies & Research Centre, under Srinivas University, will be hosting an International Conference on ‘Sustainability through Indian Knowledge & Sanskrit Heritage’ on December 13, 2025 at its Mukka Campus, Surathkal, Mangaluru.
As part of this prestigious academic event, the University is organizing a special cultural programme titled ‘Sanskrit – Samskrithi Utsava: A Cultural Show’ aimed at encouraging active participation from young students. The event is designed exclusively for PU and High School students, providing them with a platform to showcase the richness of Sanskrit language and Indian cultural traditions.
The cultural festival will feature various traditional art forms including Natyam, Geetha, Shloka recitation, Instrumental Music, and other performances inspired by India’s artistic and cultural heritage. Participants will have the opportunity to present a 15-minute performance, with each institution permitted to nominate multiple teams of up to 10 students each. All participants will receive certificates, and the best performing teams will be awarded prizes.

The organizers, Dr A R Shabaraya and Dr Praveen B M, expressed that the cultural event aims to nurture appreciation for Sanskrit heritage among the youth and provide them meaningful exposure at an international academic platform.
Institutions across the region are invited to encourage their students to participate and contribute to the celebration of India’s linguistic and cultural legacy.
