Mangaluru, Dec 5: St Theresa’s School, Bendur, celebrated Kindergarten Parents’ Day – "Aurelia" with great enthusiasm, joy, and overwhelming participation on December 5. The programme was organised to honour the invaluable role parents play in the growth and holistic development of their children, while providing a platform for the little ones to showcase their budding talents.

The celebration commenced with a prayer and a graceful prayer dance, setting a serene tone for the event. This was followed by a warm welcome address and an adorable welcome dance by the tiny tots. The chief guest, Swaroop Devaiah, founder of Montessori House of Children, was introduced and invited to address the gathering. In her message, she motivated parents and students with her insightful and encouraging words.

The cultural programme presented by the Kindergarten students was the highlight of the celebration. The young performers delighted the audience with a variety of presentations including action songs, melodious group singing, cowboy and other entertainment dances, and lively skits. Their confidence, charm, and innocence filled the auditorium with smiles and applause. The energetic Tiger Dance by the tiny tots drew special appreciation from the gathering.

A Christmas-themed skit presented by the children beautifully conveyed the message of love, joy, and harmony.

Parents expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the students and acknowledged the teachers for their dedication and hard work in preparing the programme.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, extending gratitude to the management, parents, teachers, and students for their support in making the celebration truly memorable.
