Bantwal: Two injured as two-wheeler skids on mud after incomplete pipeline works in Vittal

Daijiworld Media Network - Bantwal

Bantwal, Jan 4: Two persons were injured after a two-wheeler lost control and skidded on mud dumped on the road at Adala in Alike village under Vittal limits.

The injured have been identified as Jayaram (44), a resident of Alike Bittimule, and his son Nikhil (10). Both sustained injuries to the head and hands and were rushed to a hospital by locals.

The accident occurred after the two-wheeler rode over mud that had spread across half the road. The mud was dumped following excavation work carried out about a week ago for laying pipelines under a multi-village drinking water project. Loss of control on the muddy stretch led to the mishap.

Our roads and its digging and putting mud onroads without thinking .In princip they should put a barrier so that vehicles and People are not affected and mud should be put within this area .Why contractors are not advising workers or he himself should see this during work.Put a case o him for not doing this .Hope rider ad son are not injured much.Even road where this work going on should be closed till work is done.

People must realize that they are riding vehicles on Indian roads....where anything can happen even if one is riding safely or not over speeding,...never know what comes in the opposite direction suddenly!
