Mangaluru: Cambridge School celebrates Annual Day ‘Jalsa’ with grandeur

Mangaluru, Jan 12: The Annual Day celebration of Cambridge School, Paldane, titled ‘Jalsa’, was held with great grandeur on January 10. The programme was presided over by the school’s chairman Collins Albuquerque, and vice-chairperson Flavia Albuquerque. 

The school principal Anupama Shetty, presented the annual report highlighting the achievements of the academic year. Students who excelled in academics, sports and co-curricular activities during the year were awarded prizes by the chairman Collins Albuquerque, and vice-chairperson Flavia Albuquerque. 

Addressing the students, the chairman spoke about the importance of education, discipline, value-based living and the overall development of students. 

As part of the programme, students enthralled the audience with graceful performances in dance, music, drama and other entertaining items. Parents and guests appreciated and congratulated the students for their talent and hard work. 

Teachers, parents and students participated in large numbers and contributed to the success of the event. The ‘Jalsa’ Annual Day celebration concluded in an atmosphere of joy, enthusiasm and festivity.
