Hyderabad, Jan 22: Megastar Chiranjeevi has once again underlined his box-office supremacy with Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, which has crossed the Rs 250-crore mark in worldwide collections, emerging as the highest-grossing film of his career.
The Anil Ravipudi-directed action entertainer enjoyed a strong Sankranthi run, registering impressive collections in its first week before witnessing the expected weekday slowdown. On Wednesday, the film earned around Rs 4 crore net at the domestic box office. With this, its 10-day domestic collection stands at Rs 175.65 crore net (Rs 208.50 crore gross).

Overseas collections, too, have shown signs of tapering after a robust start. However, the film has already crossed $4.5 million overseas and is steadily inching towards the $5 million mark. This takes the worldwide gross to approximately Rs 250 crore, while the makers have claimed that the total earnings have already surpassed Rs 300 crore.
Irrespective of the figures debate, Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu has officially become Chiranjeevi’s highest-grossing film, overtaking earlier blockbusters such as Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya.
As of Wednesday, the film ranks as the 14th highest-grossing Telugu film of all time, just behind Sankranthiki Vasthunam and Sarileru Neekevvaru. Trade analysts expect it to surpass both titles before the second weekend begins. A strong weekend push could see the film crossing Rs 275 crore worldwide, putting it in contention for a top-10 spot among the highest-grossing Telugu films. Currently, Pawan Kalyan’s OG holds the 10th position with earnings of Rs 293 crore.
