The cultural programme began with a meaningful skit “Meri Bhasha, Meri Pahachaan’’ emphasising the importance of respecting and taking pride in one’s mother language. The students portrayed how one’s mother tongue is deeply intertwined with customs, traditions, identity, and pride. A colourful dance depicting the harmony of many cultures and languages followed, celebrating the richness of India’s diverse heritage. He encouraged students to respect their own mother tongue as well as other languages, to speak English in school for academic excellence, and to cherish and use their mother tongue at home. He beautifully compared Indian languages to a bouquet of flowers filled with many colours, reminding everyone that we must remain united in our uniqueness.
Principal Sr Melissa, in her speech, congratulated the students of grade VA and VE and their mentors, for organising a meaningful and enriching programme.
