Bengaluru, Feb 23: The team behind director Geetu Mohandas’s much-anticipated action drama Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups has revealed the first look of actor Sudev Nair, introducing him as the character Karmadi.
Production house KVN Productions shared the poster on social media, confirming that the film is set for a worldwide theatrical release on March 19, 2026.
The announcement follows the recent release of a gripping teaser that generated significant buzz among fans. The preview showcased a sprawling cinematic universe blending vivid spectacle with stark brutality — shifting from a circus-like environment to settings inspired by East Asian aesthetics. Spanning multiple timelines, the narrative promises a dark, stylised world anchored by intense storytelling and commanding performances.

At the heart of the film is “Rocking Star” Yash, who headlines the project. The teaser highlighted his striking physical transformation, depicting him in varied avatars — from lean and agile to powerfully built and battle-scarred — signalling a dramatic reinvention for the actor.
The ensemble cast features several prominent names. Nayanthara portrays Ganga, Kiara Advani plays Nadia, Huma Qureshi appears as Elizabeth, Rukmini Vasanth essays Mellisa, and Tara Sutaria takes on the role of Rebecca.
Written jointly by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English. Dubbed versions are also planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and other languages, underscoring its pan-Indian and international ambitions.
With the unveiling of Karmadi’s look, anticipation continues to build around what promises to be one of the year’s most ambitious cinematic spectacles.
